Resorts World Genting (RWG) was conferred the Best ASEAN New Tourism Attraction award at the 34 th ASEANTA Excellence Awards ceremony held at Amari Johor Bahru, recently.
The event, which marked the conclusion of the ASEAN Tourism Forum 2025, saw the conferment of twelve tourism awards of distinction to outstanding recipients. Resorts World Genting was among six tourism and hospitality-related organisations from Malaysia to receive an award.
The ASEANTA Excellence Awards, spearheaded by the Association of SouthEast Asian Nations Tourism Association (ASEANTA), a non-profit tourism association comprising both public and private tourism sector organizations from ASEAN, celebrates the finest achievements in ASEAN tourism whilst recognising the invaluable contributions of its members.
Present to accept the Best ASEAN New Tourism Attraction award from ASEANTA President, Eddy Krismeidi Spoemawilaga and ASEANTA Excellence Awards Chairman, Oknha Chhay Sivlin was Chrissie Lim, Vice President of Sales.
