Gurney Plaza, the popular shopping centre in Penang launched its “Arctic Christmas” decor and Shop & Be Rewarded 3.0 campaign in a gathering attended by guests and media members.
Leading the showcase was Ms Selina Ng (Head Retail), accompanied by Peter Chan (General Manager) and their respective team members.
Also present was Tourism Malaysia Northern Region Director Shahrul Aman.
In keeping with the theme, the main atrium area at the mall has taken on a North European-inspired village decked with charming wooden houses complete with a cosy fireplace.
Look out for the life-size deers and polar bears too which will be a perfect setting for selfies.
Shoppers and their families can also meet Santa Claus and his snowman companion while live band performances bring in the festive cheer.
Meanwhile, the Shop & Be rewarded 3.0 campaign is running till Feb 16, 2025 and offers shoppers a chance to win prizes totalling RM80,000. Just spend RM200 or more in a single receipt and qualify for the draw.

The campaign is supported by Tourism Malaysia as part of the Malaysia Year-End Sales Campaign 2024 and highlights Gurney Plaza as a premier destination for both shopping and tourism.
The mall is also hosting the “The Gurney Express” Christmas Market in collaboration with Hin Bus from Dec 11 to 25, 2025 offering a variety of Christmas crafts, workshops and festive treats.
Meanwhile, look out for the “Wellness Park by Moondiri Market” which offers outdoor booths and yoga classes to help promote relaxation and in a peaceful retreat.
