Members of the Malaysian Association of Hotels (Penang Chapter) held their monthly meeting at the Jazz Hotel here.
As the host hotel, the Jazz Hotel put out the best of its meeting facilities along with their food and beverage arrangements for the representatives from the various hotels and resorts here.
In all, a total of 30 members gathered at the session.
It was chaired by Ben Ho, the deputy chairman of the association and general manager of the Lexis Suites Penang. He was sitting in since their chairman, Dato Tony Goh, was away on business commitments.
Ensuring a smooth flow of the meeting was their secretary, John Kim.
Lending support was MAH national vice president, Dato Khoo Boo Lim and Dato Yeoh Soon Hin vice chairman of Tourism Malaysia and the chairman for Penang Port Commission who joined the team at the cocktail session.
Among the other representatives who had gathered were from the Bayview Hotel Georgetown, Mei Hotel, Hompton Hotel, Angsana Teluk Bahang Penang, Lexis Suites Penang, Hotel Sentral, to name a few.
With matters of the day concluded, the team moved on to a dinner reception put out by the team at the hotel’s newly launched TTs Lounge (Trumps &Trombs Lounge) located on their 29th floor. Also present was their general manager, Jordan Lim and his team.
On offer were salads, BBQ choices of Salmon, beef, chicken, local favourites like satay, mee goreng, along with fine mains and desserts.
In the meantime, the TTs Lounge offers a semi buffet lunch promotion every Sunday from 12pm to 3pm at RM88 nett per person along with complimentary one glass of wine or mocktail. Prior reservation is advised.
On weekdays, the lounge offers snacks, pizza, sandwiches, international menu, Asian men and a whole lot of drinks to go with your food.
