As part of our ongoing infrastructure works for The Light Interchange, IJM Land Berhad (“IJM Land”), the developer of THE LIGHT project wishes to inform the public that there will be a partial lane closure which require diversion of traffic along the George Town-bound route on Tun Dr. Lim Chong Eu Expressway. The closure will be in place:
- Tuesday to Wednesday | 1 – 2 October & 15 – 16 October 2024, from 10:00pm to
5:00am
These measures stem from the need to safely facilitate infrastructure works for the
construction of an elevated intersection connecting to THE LIGHT Waterfront Penang.
These improvements will support traffic capacity and enhance road network connectivity.
Additionally, as the infrastructure works progresses, further traffic control measures may
be carried out and will be communicated accordingly. We seek your kind understanding
and patience, as these changes are necessary for the safe implementation of the
construction works.
