The Amari SPICE Penang in Bayan Lepas held a gin tasting session featuring some of the finest gin in the market. 

Guests had a chance to savour the fine flavours of the Caorunn gin and the Edinburg gin choices.

Present to share the intricate details of both gin flavours was mixologist, Rex Choo and the in-house bartenders of the hotel.

Meanwhile, the Caorunn gin choices came in several flavours, namely Raspberry, Blood orange, Original and the Highland Strength.

As for the Edinburg gin, guests had a chance to taste their Canon Ball, Seaside and Original varieties.

They were meticulously mixed with a range of pomegranate, lychee, orange, tonic water and other creative mixtures.

As guests enjoyed their drinks, they were treated to some fine canapés put out by the food and beverage department of the hotel.

Also present at the session was Asiaeuro Wine and Spirits Northern region sales director, William Chong, Amari SPICE Penang’s assistant food and beverage director, Danson Khaw and representatives from several hotels in Penang.
