Rapid Penang has launched a new bus route, T310 on a trial basis from May 2 to July 31, 2024. 

It is expected to benefit the students of University Sains Malaysia (USM).

A launch ceremony was held in USM attended by Rapid Penang Head of the Northern Region, Ahmad Shabuddin Abdullah and the Vice Chancellor of Universiti Sains Malaysia, Prof. Dato’ Seri Ir. Dr. Abdul Rahman Mohamed.

They flagged off the new bus service which will be connecting USM to Bukit Jambul and Queensbay Mall.

Bus T310 services will commence from 6am till 10.30pm and are priced at RM0.90 to RM2.10 only.

The journey covers a 15km distance and includes 35 stops along the way.

According to Ahmad Shabuddin, the route will greatly enable USM students for a comfortable and convenient journey to the destination of their choice along this route.

Members of the public and residents in the vicinity are also expected to benefit from this new route.

Commuters are also encouraged to purchase Pas Mutiara My50  which offers unlimited rides for 30 days at RM10.00 only.

Disabled individuals can purchase the Pas OKU at RM5.00 only.
