Singapore’s low-cost carrier, Scoot becomes the first airline to operate Brazilian built Embraer E190-E2 model planes in South East Asia.
They recently took delivery of their first Embraer E190-E2 plane.
The planes are among the world’s most efficient and quietest single-aisle aircraft,
They are expected to operate flights from Singapore to six South-east Asian destinations from May 2024.
The plane has a range of 5,278km, or six hours of flight time.
Meanwhile, their latest Embraer model E195-E2 planes were also featured at the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA) last year.
The plane is among the newest and most environmentally friendly aircraft in its class and is operated by airlines such as KLM, Azul (Brazil), and most recently, Porter Airlines of Canada.
