The MST Golf Arena reached out to the Good Samaritan Home in keeping with the spirit of giving to bring joy and smiles to children in need through its Christmas Wish Tree initiative.
The initiative which ran from December 1 to December 17, engaged both customers and employees of MST Golf and MST Golf Arena to fulfil the wish lists of the Klang orphanage home hung on the Christmas tree located at The Gardens Mall outlet.
The process was straightforward: pick a wish card, purchase the gift, and drop it off at the MST Golf Arena reception counter as the team took care of gift wrapping.
The Christmas Wish Tree Initiative by MST Golf Arena culminated in an early Christmas celebration as the team welcomed 30 kids for a day of golfing fun, games and gifts.
To liven up things, the children learned the basics of golf before having the opportunity to practice their first swing, and enjoyed various golf games on the indoor golf simulators. The children indulged in a sumptuous Christmas luncheon before unboxing their presents, and reciprocated the festive spirit with a Christmas carol performance.
The children, many of whom tried golf for the first time, shared their thoughts with expressions such as “My first experience with golf, ” "”I used to think golf was for older people,” and “I didn’t realise golf could be so enjoyable”.
They valued the instructor’s guidance, treasured the gifts that made their wishes come true. Sweetening up Christmas this year, MST Golf Arena presented the children with gingerbread cookies for each child to commemorate the event.

community.
This event stands as a testament to the power of golf for good and coming together to make a positive impact during the holiday season. The atmosphere was filled with heartfelt emotions, laughter, smiles, and a sense of unity as the children, instructors, and volunteers gathered to share a festive meal in celebration of the season.
