Meet Sopryshah Pg. Tajuddin also known as the “Legend” at the Rasa Ria Resort & Spa in Kota Kinabalu.
He is among the pioneer staff at the resort having served for the past 25 years of the resort’s 26 year founding.
“I have met many guests who have become returning guests at this resort. It is in my nature to eet people and make friends.
“I also help them with their plans and arrangements when they are here at the resort,” said Sopry to Penang Hyperlocal.
The 50- year-old is now the role model for the up and coming concierge team.
Sopry is also the head concierge at the resort and puts in extra hours to ensure everything is running smoothly.
He had previously worked in Brunei in the royal house where he met his wife.
“I have two grown up daughters, one is a teacher and the other is in secondary school.
“The hospitality industry is in my blood. I hope to spend many more years in this industry which I love,” added Sopry.
In his leisure time, he is a die-hard Liverpool fan and believes in the “Never Walk Alone” slogan. He is looking forward to Liverpool winning the quadruple this year.
