Rendering their brand of oldies, Latin, sentimental and evergreen hits are the Latingrass duo.
Veteran musician, John Chin is on the guitar and vocals while his partner Jonathan Gwee is on the mandolin and vocals.
Almost three decades on the entertainment scene has not slowed them down at all.
Looking sharp and fit, the duo are in their element playing their favourite numbers.
They even move from table to table to serenade the guests with Spanish, Latin, Malay and English numbers.
“This is our passion which we could not pursue due to the pandemic. It is a relief now that we can perform live again,” said Chin.
They are currently performing from 7pm to 10pm every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at The Prestige Hotel here for the Selera Lagenda promo from April 3 till April 28, 2022.
However, they hosted a sneak peek preview for the recent media food tasting session.
Be it a private function, corporate dinners or birthdays, they are ready to perform.
In their heyday, they used to run the whole Batu Ferringhi belt from the former Casuarina Hotel (new Hard Rock Hotel Penang), Parkroyal Penang, Golden Sands Resort, Rasa Sayang Resort & Spa flaunting their music.
