CM Chow and Jagdeep at the launching ceremony

The “Millenia” affordable housing project was launched by Penang Chief Minister YAB Chow Kon Yeow and State Exco for Housing, Local Government, Town and Country Planning  YB Jagdeep Singh Deo at Bukit Gedong.

The project is in line with the state government’s aspiration to provide affordable housing for all those who are eligible.

“Congratulations to the Penang Housing Board for the launch of their first affordable housing project, the Millenia, at Bukit Gedong with 864 units of affordable housing prepared for Penangites.

“This is just the beginning of our journey to ensure more such affordable housing is delivered by the Penang Housing Board.

“We are nearing our target of 220,000 units of various types of affordable housing ranging from Rent To Own, Low Cost (RM 42,000), Low Medium Cost (RM72,500) to others up to RM300,000, whereby we have already reached 136,333 units.

“I am very happy also that our Chief Minister is here to be part of the launching of this very historical first affordable housing project for the Penang Housing Board,” said Jagdeep.
