MAH members on a house tour of Mercure Langkawi Pantai Cenang

Online bookings are open for the soon to be launched Mercure Langkawi Pantai Cenang with effect April 1, 2022.

According to its general manager, Jasmine Keh, the name “Mercure” stands for the “God of travel” in the Roman mythology.

“With his wings on his ankles, he moves us at the speed of light,” she added.

Meanwhile, the Mercure Langkawi Cenang Beach hotel will offer 164-rooms in the four buildings of eight stories each with modern facilities with fine comforts.

In a recent house visit to the hotel, Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) Kedah/Perlis chapter chairman Eugene Dass along with MAH Perak chairman Vincent Ee and MAH National chief executive officer Yap Lip Seng were hosted for the tour.

The hotel is strategically located at the heart of the tourist hub and most happening street in Langkawi – Pantai Cenang.

The location is already the center of business, lifestyle and entertainment while key tourist spots such as Cenang Mall, Cenang Beach, Underwater World and several Duty Free Outlets nearby. 

The hotel is also about 40 minutes to tourist attractions like the Cable Car, 30 minutes to the Kuah Jetty and only 15 minutes away to the Langkawi International Airport (LIA).

Among the facilities at the hotel are the All-day Dining, Lobby Lounge & Bar, Fitness Center, Swimming Pool, Kids Zone, a Ballroom and three meeting rooms.
