Kids greeted by Santa and gifts

In keeping with the year-end festive season, the Sunway Carnival Mall brought cheer to kids at the newly completed Sunway Medical Centre Penang recently.

They also brought along Santa Claus with his goodie bag for the timely visit.

It was part of the mall’s on-going Wander Wonder Christmas campaign.

On hand was Sunway Carnival Mall general manager, Chai Wen Yew and Sunway Medical Centre Penang, chief executive officer, Ms Stephanie Lee.

They distributed art and crafts stationeries at the paediatric ward.

“As the year comes to a close, we would like to find ways to cheer up the children in the hospital. We hope this little act of kindness can bring extra cheer to the children during the holiday season,” said Lee.

“Children are ever curious and that is how they learn. One of the ways to retain their interest in learning is through skills of writing and drawing”. Christmas, that magical time of the year, is where peace and love warms the heart. It’s truly a season of giving, a season to love, bless and cherish,” said Chai.

Sunway Malls champion the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG) and one of the core areas is quality education.

Sunway Medical Centre Penang offers 180 beds and 54 outpatient specialist clinics at its facility.
