The Iconic Hotel Penang was among the hotels in mainland Penang to be recognised by Trip.com group for the year 2022.
The hotel’s general manager, Kevin Cheah was on hand to receive the award in Kuala Lumpur recently.
Trip.com provides services including accommodation reservation, transportation ticketing, packaged tours and corporate travel management.
In his response, Cheah said that they are honoured to receive the award as it is a recognition of their hard work and dedication considering the Covid-19 lockdown.
“The award is also a good motivation for our team and associates who had worked tirelessly despite many challenges in the industry. We on our hand are also innovating new ideas and services for the benefit of our guests and clients,” he added.
Come 2023, they are also looking ahead for more good and positive results to come.
