The G Hotel in Penang welcomes back tourists & business travellers by redefining their on-going cleaning & safety standards, implementing strict preventive measures in line with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) set by the Malaysian Government.

Upon arrival at G Hotel’s main entrance, all guests will need to get temperature checks with the facial recognition temperature machine which G Hotel is one of the only few hotels having this machine, hand sanitized at the automatic hand sanitizing station & scan the unique QR code for contact tracing purposes.

Then upon entering the hotel, social distancing stickers can be seen on the floor as well as health & hygiene reminders displayed throughout to inform & educate guests on the importance of keeping good personal hygiene.

Guests can now check-in online through G Hotel’s official website prior to arrival & collect the room keys from the reception after filling in a health & travel declaration form.

After serving each guest, reception staff are entrusted to sanitize surfaces, stationeries, front-desk screens & key cards before assisting guests. Public areas throughout the hotel are also disinfected at regular intervals to prevent the spread of bacteria

The rooms in G Hotel go through the highest levels of sanitization with Housekeeping teams geared in proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when performing daily tasks.

All surfaces including high-touch points are being disinfected daily using germicidal disinfectant & wipes. Guests can be rest assured that towels & mattresses are treated with anti-bacterial chemicals & changed daily.

All air conditioning filters & air ducts are constantly cleaned to maintain healthy air quality indoors. Water system throughout the hotel is regularly tested to prevent the spread of bacteria.
