The Hunza Group held its triple celebration to mark its 45th Anniversary logo and theme to celebrate the Group’s four and a half decade in the property industry since its founding in 1978. In conjunction with the celebratory occasion, 

The second was the announcement of the year-long lucky draw campaign was also announced alongside the launch of the Chinese New Year (CNY) line-ups by its retail asset, Gurney Paragon Mall.

The official celebration theme – “Fortifying the Future” – is a reflection of the Group’s commitment towards building a stronger brand through continuous delivery of superior products and services. 

With landmark projects such as Infinity Beachfront Super Condominium, the integrated mixed development of Gurney Paragon, the highly acclaimed Alila2 and the upcoming grandiosity that is Penang International CommercialCity (PICC), Hunza Group is poised to further cement their trailblazer position in the region.

“In this occasion of celebration, we are not just honouring the legacy of our past but we are also fortifying our Group and our brand for the coming future,” said Dato’ Khor Siang Gin, its Group Managing Director in his launching remarks. 

Dato’ Khor also shared that the maiden project under its PICC, MUZE @ PICC, will be approaching its completion phase in the next few months with an anticipated announcement for Phase 2 in the horizon. 

He further added that the Group recently signed on a joint development with Penang State Housing Board to build the first ever RMMPg (Rumah Mampu Milik Pulau Pinang) called The Millennia at Bayan Lepas. 

Over at Sungai Petani, Kedah and Bandar Putra Bertam, Seberang Perai, the Group will respectively be launching new phases in their existing townships in 2023. On top of that, another mixed-use development in the effervescent centre of Juru by the name of The H City is also under active planning.

For Gurney Paragon Mall – its sole retail asset – new brands such as France’s Decathlon (the largest sporting goods retailer in the world) and Japan’s NITORI (largest furniture and home furnishing chain in the home country) will soon make their debut in the prominent shopping mall which is also celebrating its 10th Anniversary in 2023. 

Likewise, a revamped retail loyalty app called The H Circle which will contemporaneously act as a property management app for assets under Hunza Group is in the works.

“Even as we navigate in this new challenging landscape, we are confident in continuously fortifying our Group on all fronts so that we can deliver on our corporate core values – which is Reliability, Integrity, Greatness, Human Development and Teamwork (RIGHT),” added Khor.

Meanwhile, its Group Executive Director, Ms. Khor Tze Ming, revealed that the theme is also a creative wordplay on “45” which signifies its anniversary. In her special presentation, she similarly announced the year-long lucky draw campaign in conjunction with the Group’s celebration. With prizes of value up to approximately RM1 million, buyers who purchased a unit in any of the participating projects (MUZE @ PICC, Alila2, Mekarsari Unggul or SENZE @ PICC) will be eligible for entries. 

One lucky purchaser will walk away with the Grand Prize of a Mercedes-Benz C-Class worth close to RM300,000, or even a Hyundai Kona worth more than RM120,000. 

In the same segment. Ms. Khor also announced Gurney Paragon Mall’s CNY campaign with the
theme of “Hop into Prosperity” to coincide with the Year of the Rabbit. Shoppers can redeem the exclusive rabbit-themed red packets when they spend a minimum of RM200 in Gurney Paragon Mall within the duration of Jan 1 – 21, 2023. A “Prosperity Blooms Tunnel” was also unveiled on the same day, with a surprise reveal that the installation has been awarded the title of “Most Mandarin Orange Replicas in Chinese New Year Decoration”.
