The Hompton By The Beach Penang will expand with another property planned in Bayan Lepas, Penang.
The new hotel which is to be completed by 2025 will be known as Hompton Air-Port@Bayan Lepas.
The 4-star hotel will be located along Jalan Tun Dr Awang here.
At a recent ceremony over the weekend, the Hompton By The Beach Penang also launched its exclusive YouTube channel to promote its various promotions. They are also the first hotel in Penang to carry out such an initiative.
“We are happy to grow our brand in Penang and the new hotel will add to the inventory of hotels on the island, ” said Jimmy Chan, general manager of Hompton By The Beach Penang.
While on the hospitality topic in Bayan Lepas, the first Le Méridien is another project which is slated to open near the Penang International Airport by 2026.
It will feature 200-rooms equipped with the latest technology facilities. It part of the RM1.5 billion Penang Gateway project by the Rackson Group.
Meanwhile, the 453-room Amari SPICE Penang is also expected to open this year located near the Setia Spice Convention Centre.
Other hotels currently operating in the area are the Olive Tree Hotel, Eastin Hotel and the AC Hotel By Marriott Penang.
