The Gurney Paragon Mall is the first mall in Penang or even in the Northern Region to launch the Touch N Go PayDirect services.

What more, from March 1 to April 30, 2021, users will enjoy a 20% cashback (capped at RM1) when they pay for parking using Touch n Go PayDirect at the Gurney Paragon Mall.

However, it is limited to the first 10,000 redemptions. So hurry to register.

Users will only have to add their Touch n Go card to their Touch n Go eWallet to activate the Touch n Go PayDirect.

Subsequently, they can just tap their card at the entry and exit points as usual.

Present at the launching ceremony held at the Hunza Properties Berhad premises was Ms Khor Tze Ming, Group Executive Director of Hunza Properties Berhad, Chong Fhui, Chief Commercial Officer of Touch n Go Sdn Bhd along with Ms Koay Bee Fong, Chief Executive Officer of Gurney Paragon Mall.

Also present was Ms Adeline Ong, Head of Communications, Touch n Go Sdn Bhd.

“We are excited to be the first mall in Penang to offer the PayDirect cashless format of payment.  It will offer another option for shoppers to make their payments via a cashless and convenient mode.

“We have some 1,500 parking bays at our mall and this mode of payment enables parking convenience for shoppers.

“The shoppers no longer have to hunt for Touch n Go kiosks to reload their card to pay for their parking fees. Thus, leading to less congestion at the entrance and exit points especially during busy days or nearing mall closing hours,” said Khor.

Meanwhile, Chong Fhui added that in light of the Covid-19 pandemic people are looking for safe, convenient and innovative payment options.

“The Touch n Go Pay Direct is one such example and through our partnership with Gurney Paragon Mall, we hope to address this need,” he added.
