In line with Penang Vision2030 initiatives, more solar panels are being installed in the state.
This time around the car parks at the Seberang Perai City Council will be installed with the “green energy”.
Penang Sate Exco for Housing, Local Government, Town and Country Planning, Jagdeep Singh Deo was on hand to launch the project yesterday.
“I am very happy to be for their launching of Solar Technology at their very own headquarters in Seberang Perai, whereby a total of 1,194 new solar panels will be installed for all their carparks on site.
“This is yet another Green Technology Solar Project here, after having launch three other before that would have been completed.
“In this climate crisis, Green technology is extremely important and I commend MBSP for leading, whereby they have many initiatives apart from all other initiatives to Green Penang throughout the state.
Joining him was the council’s president Dato Rozali Mohamud and other guests.
