As part of their corporate social responsibility, (CSR) the Rasa Sayang Resort and the Golden Sands Resort jointly hosted kids from several charitable homes In Penang to a round of bowling recently.
The boisterous gathering was held at the Penang Bowl@ Lebuh Farquhar in Georgetown.
The children from the ages of 12 to 22 were from the Penang Shan Home and Crystal Family House.
The 25 odd children were accompanied by their caregivers.
There were echoes of laughter and cheers as they had the chance to play the game. And for some of the children, it was the first time they were even taken to a bowling alley.
They were divided into 12 teams to take part in the event. Eventual winners were presented with food hampers.
Since the pandemic, the children were not able to venture out of their homes for some fun and recreational activities.
It was therefore great to see them enjoying themselves and having a great time with the McDonald’s dinner sponsored by the resort.
