One of the world’s largest fitness network, ClassPass, which caters for the trendy and health conscious individuals expanded to Penang with the opening of its outlet at the City Junction mall in Tanjung Tokong.

With its current outlets in Kuala Lumpur, ClassPass membership network has more than 22.000 fitness studios in 2,500 cities worldwide.

Their programmes range from yoga, pilates (excercises using special apparatus) and barre (horizontal bar), running, strength training, dancing, boxing, Zumba and martial arts.

Founded in 2013, ClassPass has also expanded into spas, massages and saunas. They are known to have the most comprehensive compilation of fitness reviews, with users prompted to rate their experience after each class.

Reviews are then publicly to help users sift through class options and give studios a fast feedback loop with real-time insights.

They has also extended to partnerships with some of the country’s most prominent hotels and wellness centres including W Kuala Lumpur.

“More and more Malaysians are beginning to understand the need to care about their health, fitness an wellness.

“Not just in the pursuit to be fit and look good but also understanding the positive impact a healthy active body has on both mind and mood,” said ClassPass country manager Jessica Ong.
