Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz officiated the Urban Transformation Centre (UTC) in Komtar yesterday.
Also present was Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow along with state assemblyman for Komtar, Teh Lai Heng.
The UTC has been very beneficial for the members of the public in dealing with the various government departments for its services.
Zafrul also added that there are 23 UTCs in the country.
Among the departments include the Road Transport, National Registration Department, Police, Immigration, Education, Finance, Agriculture, Communication and Multimedia and more.
