Thai based hospitality and property group, Dusit International is spreading its wings in Vietnam with the proposed opening of the opening of the Dusit Tu Hoa Palace, Hanoi in Vietnam.

The 207- room hotel is in the city’s affluent Tay Ho District, at the northern end of the city’s largest freshwater lake, West Lake.

The hotel is expected to open in Q4 of 2023.

The upscale property will put guests at the heart of a vibrant lakeside community renowned for its international restaurants, trendy cafes, chic nightlife venues, and fascinating lakeside temples.

The Noi Bai International Airport is only 30 minutes away by car, while Hanoi’s Old Quarter, the city’s business hub and main tourist destination can be reached in just 15 minutes.

Dusit’s mission is to uniquely deliver Thai-inspired gracious hospitality to the world, the hotel will feature a distinctive blend of Thai and Vietnamese design elements to offer high levels of comfort and convenience for business and leisure travellers alike.

Hotel facilities will include an all-day dining restaurant, a rooftop bar, meeting rooms, and a swimming pool. Many of the guest rooms will offer views of the lake and its surrounds.

Guests will also enjoy easy access to local attractions such as Vietnam’s oldest temple, Tran Quoc Pagoda, which was built in the 6th century; and Quan Thanh Temple, which is renowned for its detailed wood carvings.

The group already runs the Dusit Princess Moonrise Beach Resort Phu Quoc, which opened in 2018 in Vietnam.

Dusit International’s property portfolio now comprises 307 properties operating under six brands across 15 countries.

The company has also recently diversified into food business, with strategic investments designed to mitigate risk, expand its customer base, and generate revenue from adjacent lines of commerce.

Dusit International was founded in 1948 by Honorary Chairperson Thanpuying Chanut Piyaoui whose first hotel was the Princess on Bangkok’s Charoenkrung Road.

Their hotels and resorts operate under the Dusit Thani, dusitD2, Dusit Princess and Dusit Devarana brand names.
