Celebrating 40 years of wedded bliss is something very special and unique for anyone.

So, when Ronald Kardas and his wife Bobbi decided to plan for their celebration and getaway, they instantly chose the legendary island of Langkawi.

“Deciding on the location was very easy as both of us love Asia and the people in this part of the world.

“Although this was the our first visit Langkawi, we selected the island because the island had some very nice resorts as well as the beautiful setting,” said Kardas when met by Penang Hyperlocal.com at the Ritz-Carlton Langkawi recently.

The couple had rave reviews about the resort and the memorable treatment by the staff and management team of the Ritz-Carlton Langkawi.

“In fact, it was an absolutely wonderful stay. It is a great location with terrific service,” added Bobbi.

The resort’s executive chef Mattia Salissoglia and executive assistant manager Nils Minken ensured everything was perfect for the couple.

The couple who are both professionals wanted to make this celebration very special as Bobbi, has also recently retired as the senior manager at General Electric.

They presently live in upstate New York on a farm which has been in their family for 100 years.

“I am an international private consultant for project management and leadership development and also travel to various parts of the world frequently.

“My wife had a great time and the very best dinner and the fine Champagne Barons De Rothschild we have every had. My wife was overjoyed with the experience,” added Kardas.

Other than Langkawi, they also like to holiday in Southern Asia as they love the warm and friendly people and the peaceful settings.

“Both of us will only go to a location once, since there are so many places to see around the world.

“However, after our visit to Langkawi, she has already been talking about returning. We had an absolutely fabulous time,” said Kardas which will surely augur well for Visit Malaysia Year 2020.
